Paediatrician Specialist

The Consultant Paediatrician provides specialist paediatric services for the population of Central and East Gippsland, operating in an environment characterised by a need to work effectively as part of the Paediatric Unit and also within a large multidisciplinary team that provides services across a broad range of acute, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, primary health and community support services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist paediatric services for the population of Central and East Gippsland
- Operate in an environment characterised by a need to work effectively as part of the Paediatric Unit and also within a large multidisciplinary team
- Provide consulting outreach services to East Gippsland
- Classifications for this position will range from classification award for Specialist Year (1-9) and contracted hours
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a primary medical qualification registrable with the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria and a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. You will also need to have substantial and proven experience in general paediatric medicine at a senior level and within a community consulting practice and a hospital-based setting, as well as experience in neonatal resuscitation and neonatology.
