Electrical Maintenance Technician

The role of Electrical Maintenance Technician is a pivotal position within an organization, responsible for maintaining high-end automated material handling systems in the Greater Sydney area.

This involves conducting regular electrical maintenance inspections to ensure optimal system performance, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular electrical maintenance inspections to guarantee peak system efficiency
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical malfunctions to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring adherence to strict electrical safety protocols and regulations

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in electrical engineering with mechanical aptitude
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer/Technician
  • Understanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs)
  • Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical) is highly desirable
