Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our QLD team in a permanent full-time capacity. As a key member of the GenesisCare Research Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering clinical research activities across various oncology trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research Coordination: Work closely with Principal Investigators, Co-investigators, and the GenesisCare Research Team to conduct clinical research activities, including direct and indirect care, data collection, and trial monitoring.
  • Site Management: Ensure smooth trial operations, documentation, and monitoring at allocated sites with support from Research Leads, the start-up team, and your clinical lead.
  • Recruitment and Timelines: Collaborate with the team lead and local research team to meet recruitment targets and timelines.
  • Patient Care: Provide patient-centered care, attend trial assessments and treatments within your competency, and perform clinical tasks as deemed necessary.
  • Sample Management: Process samples, coordinate sample collection and dispatch as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical research coordination, nursing, science, or Phase 1 research, with an equivalent undergraduate degree.
  • Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of clinical trials software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High level of initiative, flexibility, and time management skills to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
  • AHPRA registration and relevant nursing or radiotherapy experience is desirable.
