Roy Morgan Research is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field Research Officer to join our team. As a Field Research Officer, you will be responsible for collecting high-quality data through surveys and observations across Australia.
The Domestic Tourism Statistics (DoTS) survey measures domestic travel and will contribute to the estimates of the national economy. You will engage with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, gathering their opinions and insights on various topics related to domestic tourism.
This role requires strong market research interviewing skills or equivalent experience in customer engagement. You must be professional, have integrity, and possess mature social skills. A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are also essential.
You will work independently, managing your own workload and committing to at least 20 hours per week, including weekdays and weekends. This flexibility allows you to balance your work and personal life. If you're semi-retired or retired, this opportunity can provide a fulfilling way to stay engaged.

To succeed as a Field Research Officer, you should:
- Enjoy engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Have market research interviewing experience or equivalent interviewing/customer engagement experience.
- Be professional, have integrity, and possess mature social skills.
- Be available to work 20+ hours per week, including weekdays and weekends.
- Hold a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Hold a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Have fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written English).
- Have a legal right to work in Australia.
