Leadership HVAC Supervisor Role

This position plays a vital part in KBR's National Security Solutions team, providing high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on creating organizational structures and processes necessary to execute HVAC services effectively.

  • Collaborate with project teams to plan projects, contributing input on key success factors, design and procurement deliverables, and common work breakdown structures.
  • Develop resource plans, allocating resources effectively and ensuring facilities, equipment, and tools meet project needs.
  • Manage costs and budgets, reviewing and monitoring man-hour budgets for the HVAC installation process.
  • Oversee safety practices, including implementing safety orientations, safety indoctrinations, and gang box meetings.
  • Monitor crew organization and compliance, including sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage regulations.
  • Maintain quality control measures, ensuring installations and repairs meet or exceed set standards.
  • Facilitate team communication, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
Requirements:
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.
  • Must have at least seven years of HVAC technician experience.
  • Must have at least three years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a Journeyman or Master HVAC License, or Australian equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
