Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses in the Emergency Department, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide education and training to staff on emergency and critical care procedures and protocols.
- Extensive clinical experience in emergency and critical care nursing, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing.
- Experience in emergency team leadership and coordination of emergency care.
- Demonstrated competence in High Acuity and Emergency Department Nursing, including advanced skills and knowledge in managing intensive care patient demographics and advanced health assessment capabilities.
