Security and Compliance Expert

The Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) Certification is a stringent framework that necessitates diligent adherence to safeguard national security.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring all operations are conducted in line with PSP under respective requirements and Toll Group Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Chief Security Officer in undertaking day-to-day management of TRL's DISP Certification.
  • Implementing compliance with Australian Government and Defence security legislation and policies, including achieving and maintaining standards required by DSPF, PSPF, and Toll Group Security Management System.
  • Supporting security vetting process for G&D staff and contractors, including initiation of security clearances and mandatory training and reporting requirements for security cleared staff.
  • Creating, updating, and reviewing Security policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with legislation, best practice, and company risk profile.
  • Developing and implementing security processes that allow core business to be conducted in line with best practice security arrangements compliant with DSPF and PSPF.
  • Conducting scheduled assurance activities as required by respective security standards and certifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Relevant State Security Licences or ability to obtain
  • DS&VS Security Officer Course
  • 2-3 years+ experience in a Security Officer role with Defence/Government or Defence Industry
  • Government security, compliance, and risk management skills and knowledge
