About the Role

The Planning Portal Officer will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, maintaining development tracking systems and NAR (Name & Address Register), processing customer transactions, developing and managing website content, and assisting with maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes.

This role requires a Certificate IV in Local Government (Planning) or equivalent qualification. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of NSW Environmental Planning Instruments, Development Assessment Process, and demonstrated experience in using the NSW Planning Portal and Plan Reading.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolve customer phone and online enquiries
  • Maintain the development tracking system
  • Maintain NAR (Name & Address Register)
  • Process customer transactions
  • Develop and manage website content
  • Assist with maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes

A successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Position Details

S1106: Permanent, Full-time role

Salary: From $76.3k p.a. + Superannuation + organisational bonus (up to $2k) + individual bonus (up to 2% of base salary)
