About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinary nurse with experience in equine and large animal care to work in a state-of-the-art hospital setting. As an Equine Large Animal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, including monitoring and treatment of hospitalised animals, emergency triage and critical care, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional patient care, including nursing procedures and administering medications
  • Assisting surgeons during elective and emergency procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Working collaboratively as part of the clinical team to achieve excellent patient outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in equine handling and safety restraint techniques
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
