About the Job

We are seeking skilled professionals to teach in our Machine Manufacturing Technology program. This is an opportunity for educators to share their expertise and passion with students, shaping the next generation of industry leaders.

Our department will review applications from qualified candidates and identify individuals based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year. Your application may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full term class positions.

The Machine Manufacturing Technology program provides hands-on training and experience in machine tools and manufacturing processes. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in industry or can pursue advanced degrees in related fields.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Associate of Applied Science or equivalent degree in Machine Manufacturing Technology or a related field.
  • Completion of a formal training program in machining, such as a 4-year Journeyman Apprenticeship, or 2 or more-year Technical Trade School in machining.

Additionally, you should possess:

  • Five years relevant industry experience using any four (4) of the following basic machine tools: Sawing machines, Turning machines, Milling machines, Drilling machines, Grinding machines, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines.

Other requirements include:

  • College-level algebra on your college transcript (for courses in Computation).
  • College-level trigonometry on your college transcript (for courses in Computation).
  • Supervisory experience (documented) (for courses in Communication).
