
Senior Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance and management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the maintenance workshop, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of mechanics and subcontractor technicians, providing guidance and support to optimize workflow and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of parts and supplies to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive service delivery and meet customer expectations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in heavy vehicle technology to drive business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy vehicles, including diagnostic and repair techniques.
- A qualification in the Heavy Vehicle mechanical trade is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance, including NHVR requirements for heavy vehicles.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and MS Office Suite to streamline business processes.
