About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Technical Director to drive revenue generation, develop market strategy, and ensure successful project delivery. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in partnering strategies and collaborating closely with our practice supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop trusted relationships with our Transmission and Distribution (T&D) clients, driving best practice and a professional leading-edge approach to Health and Safety and CDM.
  • Contribute to the overall market strategy and execution of the annual business plan, identifying and managing portfolio risks.
  • Oversee the performance of Project Managers and Project Directors, ensuring delivery of market revenue, profit, and practice demand in line with or exceeding agreed budgets.
  • Lead and own our market proposition and thought leadership, in conjunction with our Win Work teams, and provide leadership, management, and engineering/technical guidance to the T&D team and its staff.
  • Manage financial performance of projects in your portfolio, including P&L accountability, and direct key staff recruitment, resourcing, and development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, team-working, and influencing skills.
  • Experience of leading high-performing teams and ability to build trust, influence, and motivate others.
  • Highly experienced in financial and commercial management for large and complex portfolios of projects.
  • Experience of successful negotiation and dispute resolution, and contractual, commercial, and project delivery knowledge.
  • A well-rounded leadership and management background with demonstrable experience of project portfolio management.
