About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sheep Genetics Systems Developer to join our Livestock Genetics team at Meat & Livestock Australia. This is a fixed-term, 12-month contract opportunity based in our Armidale, Brisbane, or North Sydney offices.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain the Sheep Genetics search website;
  • Experience in developing web-based products through associated interfaces;
  • Demonstrated ability to support the Sheep Genetics Manager and staff in relation to development of front-end infrastructure linking database functionality and user experience into a seamless product;
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate with wider staff and service providers in the delivery of genetic information for sheep industry customers and key stakeholders via a web interface.
