Expert Intensive Care Nurse Required

Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with AHPRA standards and Healthscope's policies and processes.
- Supporting the nursing team in maintaining a learning environment through clinical presentations and ongoing professional development.
- Acting as a valuable member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborating with external partners to ensure patients receive high-quality care across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintaining professional and constructive working relationships with medical professionals, using a customer service mindset, to enable high-quality patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current Registration with AHPRA & Working rights in Australia.
- 5+ years experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting.
- A degree of exposure and experience in a HDU or ICU setting.
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute ICU or HDU setting.
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU (or working towards) is desirable.
