About the Role:

As a delivery professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our schools' breakfast program.

">

We are seeking an experienced driver to join our team, delivering food supplies and white goods to schools across various locations. This is a casual position, requiring approximately 14-22 hours of work per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate school days only (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).

Key responsibilities include:

">
  • Operating a refrigerated five-speed manual ute and two-pallet refrigerated truck">
  • Delivering food supplies and occasionally white goods to schools">
  • Performing manual tasks such as lifting, stacking, packing, loading, and storing items in and out of delivery vehicles, cold room, and chest freezers">
  • Driving to and collecting food donations from donors as required">
  • Assisting with cleaning and maintaining the warehouse, vehicles, and equipment">
  • Supporting and directing warehouse volunteers, students, and visitors">

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An open manual driver's license">
  • Extensive driving experience preferably as a delivery driver in metro area deliveries">
  • The ability to undertake manual tasks">
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently">
  • Good communication, customer service, and numeracy skills">
  • A current Blue Card (working with children check) or willingness to obtain one">
  • A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one">
  • Optional: An LF forklift license">
