Job Overview

This senior IT professional will develop and maintain complex computer systems, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
  • Maintain computer systems' workflows, perform upkeep, configuration, and operation of computer systems, including troubleshooting network issues and updating equipment and software.
  • Provide technical support in managing networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures, as well as train end-users on the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot moderately complex system hardware and software issues, and perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels, ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions, and maintain data/media recoverability through regular backups and database archive operations.
  • Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines, and guarantee that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users.
Required Qualifications:
  • Mandatory Skills: Systems Administration, Systems Architecture
  • Certifications: IAT Level II cert required; CompTIA Security+ CE
  • Experience: HS or GED + 19 Years experience; Bachelors + 14 Years experience
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI FS poly
