Laundry Attendant Role Overview

The NSW Department of Education is responsible for providing educational services to students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering high-quality education through public schools and offering funding support to non-government schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, wash, dry, press, and distribute clothing and linen.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on linen and clothing according to school procedures.
  • Complete basic inventory control documentation and carry out stock control duties.
  • Work independently and as part of a team environment.

Talent Pool Note: All positions are part-time temporary for 12 months (8.30am-2.30pm daily) with the possibility for extension or ongoing employment.

About the School: Hurlstone Agricultural High School is a coeducational selective agricultural high school with boarding facilities and a large school farm.
