Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Relief Chef Manager to join our team. This role involves leading a kitchen team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of food preparation, presentation, and site management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation processes
  • Manage overall costs related to food and labor
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with food safety practices
  • Develop and implement effective leadership strategies for managing a team
  • Assist with bulk cooking operations and prepare texture-modified foods as required

Qualifications and Skills
  • A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is essential
  • Proven experience in managing labor, food, and operational costs is required
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management is desirable
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene is essential
  • A valid driver's license and access to their own vehicle are required

Benefits Package
  • Salary - $80,000 base rate plus $4,000 travel allowance per annum
