Job Opportunity

This is a senior-level position within our maintenance team at a medical facility in Knoxville, East Tennessee. We offer a vibrant arts scene, various festivals, delicious food, and numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records and conduct cost analyses for completed work.
  • Oversee inventory management and make recommendations for purchases.
  • Assist in boiler equipment maintenance programs.
  • Assign tasks, supervise contractors, and train technicians.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  • Lead preparations for State Boiler Inspections.
  • Support plant operations as needed.
  • Local travel required.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience or education may be considered in lieu of this requirement.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or possess trade school certification; hospital plant experience is preferred. Annual Boiler Operator Certification is also mandatory.

A valid driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record are necessary for the position.
