Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Trust Accounts Officer. This position is part of a team that provides finance support at a national level.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trust account transactions, including receipts, payments, and PEXA settlements. They will also perform trust account reconciliations and manage records in accordance with statutory requirements.

  • Processing of trust account transactions (receipts, payments, PEXA settlements)
  • Trust account reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of controlled money in the practice management system
  • Manage trust account records in accordance with statutory requirements
  • Periodic reporting of the trust account, filing, lodgements and liaising with auditors

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years' experience preferably within a law firm environment
  • Excellent accuracy with processing volume
  • Strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills
