Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced lawyer to join our team as a legal professional. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a small team of experts to deliver high-quality training and support services to not-for-profit organizations.
About the Role
This fixed-term part-time position (22.5 hours per week) is responsible for delivering engaging and interactive online and in-person training sessions to external clients. You will be required to manage all aspects of training, including client liaison, training proposals, preparation, delivery, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality training sessions to external clients;
- Manage all aspects of training, including client liaison, training proposals, preparation, delivery, and evaluation;
- Contribute to reviewing and updating existing training content and resources;
- Develop new modules to meet not-for-profit client needs;
- Work with the team to build the reach and impact of our training social enterprise through stakeholder outreach, communications, and new product ideas.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years' unsupervised practice as a lawyer or equivalent experience in a legal role;
- An understanding of legal issues commonly faced by not-for-profit organizations;
- Clients' centered approach and excellent communication skills to explain complex legal concepts in plain language;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
