Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated clinician to join our multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based psychological interventions to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families and friends.

  • Develop collaborative individual care plans and deliver brief to medium-term therapeutic interventions to young people and their parents/carers.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with other clinicians to plan and develop services for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns.
  • Provide evidence-based, best practice psychological interventions, participate in clinical reviews and quality assurance processes, attend business and professional development meetings, and contribute to the development and maintenance of community partnerships.

As a member of our mental health team, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, intervention or group work as required; with specific responsibility to provide evidence-based psychological interventions to a caseload of young people.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse OR Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility OR Counsellor with Level 3 ACA registration or PACFA registration as a Clinical Member.

Demonstrated highly competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice.

Demonstrated comprehensive level of profession-specific knowledge, expertise, and skill; with specific experience in the provision of evidence-based psychological therapies.

Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team, utilising comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team as well as external service providers.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to the professional development of self and others through education, professional networking, and application of evidence-based practice.

Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card.

Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
