A senior consultant will play a critical role in Cognizant Consulting, helping shape and deliver major projects for clients in various sectors.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, providing sector, customer or commercial perspective on the challenge that we are solving for our client.

Cognizant's purpose is to engineer modern organisations to improve everyday life. In consulting, that means you will be:

  • Helping a client find and create new value for their customers, their business and our society through technology
  • Facilitating their future design, orchestrating how Cognizant and its partners deliver that outcome and helping the client get value from it

The role involves exciting, fast-paced work, dealing with a variety of stakeholders, clients and consultants.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a business or technology specialist and advisor across the public or health sectors including time in an external consulting firm
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate and facilitate workshops to understand the client problem and define the scope
  • Analyse the business value drivers, customer needs and current technology and operational capabilities of the business
  • Generate high level customer experience journeys or service blueprints
  • Design and manage the requirements gathering lifecycle
  • Guide the translation of requirements into solution designs
  • Prioritise work for a project squad to optimise the value to the client from their investment
  • Communicate with key client stakeholders and Cognizant leaders
  • Support Consulting managers at any stage of the engagement lifecycle
