BioScout has developed the world's first automated system for detecting airborne crop disease using daily spore sampling and analysis. Already deployed across Australia, and now rolling out across Europe and Latin America, it's giving farmers an earlier insight into disease presence, helping reduce crop losses, limiting chemical use, and supporting more sustainable farming.
The system combines environmental sampling, microscopy, and data analytics to reveal the invisible. With demand growing, we're scaling up production and developing new sensing technologies that push the boundaries of agricultural monitoring.
As an Embedded Mechatronics Specialist, you'll develop complex systems that integrate sensors, microcontrollers, actuators, and power systems. You'll prototype and debug electronics, including hands-on validation and fault analysis. You'll design mechanical components and assemblies for both internal integration and outdoor deployment in harsh farming environments.
