Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Blow Moulding Technician to join the team at our Brendale facility. The Blow Moulding Technician position is a hands-on role and will require making necessary changes and adjustments to the technical blow moulding and auxiliary equipment in a safe and controlled manner.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Mould and colour changes as per the production plan Making machine adjustments as per the setup sheet and training to maintain a quality product Forklift driving as required for finished stock Prioritisation of work and machines to the production plan to ensure customer deliveries are made on time and in full with no defects Mechanical maintenance of machines to ensure they are kept in satisfactory condition Flexibility of working rotation shift work Monday – Friday also working Weekends as required Packing product during meal breaks and slow down periods

Skills & Requirements

You will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and pay excellent attention to detail. In order to succeed you will also possess the following:

3+ years’ experience as a Blow Moulding Technician Mechanical and technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and complex mechanical equipment Ability to perform and recognize bottle quality and operating efficiency Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training highly regarded Fitter & Turner/Machinist Trade qualified highly regarded Current Forklift License

Qualifications

Trade or Teritiary in a related field
