Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Casual Youth Workers to join our team in the Logan, South Brisbane, and Gold Coast region. As a key member of our Foster Care and Residential programs, you will be responsible for building positive relationships with children and young people, supporting their involvement in family visits and connections, and promoting their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with children and young people by showing genuine interest and active engagement
  • Act as a role model, encouraging young people to participate in activities that develop life skills and self-worth
  • Support family involvement and facilitate family visits/connections to suit individual needs
  • Promote positive relationships with peers and significant individuals
  • Empower children and young people to make informed decisions about their activities
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Circle of Security and CARE frameworks is highly beneficial
  • Experience with family intervention programs is desirable
  • Valid Full Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
  • Completion of Hope and Healing Framework Foundations prior to starting (we will enroll you in this if successful)
