Job Opportunity in Health and Physical Education

We are seeking a dedicated educator to teach Health and Physical Education to students in years 7-10. This role requires a high level of organisational and planning skills, with the ability to implement differentiated units of work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Teach Health and Physical Education to students in years 7-10.
  • Develop and maintain a standard of excellence in Health and Physical Education.
  • Implement effective differentiation strategies in the classroom.
  • Lead and manage a Pastoral Care Group (PCG).
  • Built strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated ability to teach Health and Physical Education to students in years 7-10.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in designing and delivering differentiated units of work.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing circumstances.
  • Strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and its application in the classroom.
  • Highly developed organisational and planning skills to support various sporting competitions.
  • Active participation in extracurricular activities.
  • Commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos of the College.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline with a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) or Bachelor of Education.
