A key role within our aviation team is available as a Storesperson in a permanent full-time position.

What does the job entail?

As a member of our stores team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient acceptance of inbound goods and stores destined for use in the catering area.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring availability of goods required by the catering team on time and in the correct quantities.

- Ensuring delivered items are packed to acceptable hygiene and other specifications.

- Managing stock levels effectively to ensure space for incoming goods.

- Maintaining company policies regarding HACCP, QSAI, and WHS in accordance with federal and state regulations.

- Anticipating potential problems and taking appropriate actions to eliminate or manage their impact.

Requirements for success in this role include:

- A valid forklift license with experience; high reach license preferred.

- Good knowledge of basic HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI requirements.

- Basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures.

- Good knowledge of WHS and storehouse procedures.

- Microsoft Office skills.

- Excellent organizational and product knowledge skills.

- National Police Check requirement due to industry standards.

Working hours for this role will be 38 hours per week.
