Key Responsibilities:

- Assist children with using the school crossing to safely cross the road">
- Provide advice to pedestrians on safety rules pertaining to school crossings">
- Carry out duties within the parameters of workplace health and safety requirements">
- Effectively manage events and exercise judgment when escalating issues">
- Set up and dismantle safety crossing zones as required">

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Committed to maintaining a safety-first approach at all times">
- Friendly, approachable, and always ready to help">
- Ability to set up and take down equipment at crossing zones with ease">
- Quick to learn and effectively communicate school crossing safety rules to others">
- Calm under pressure, with the ability to de-escalate situations and escalate concerns when necessary">
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment">
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement">
