Farm Operations Manager

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Agricultural Specialist to spearhead the establishment and management of our agricultural operations. This key role will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of soil quality, crop health, and pest/disease control to ensure optimal farming practices.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of horticultural practices, including soil management, crop rotation, and pest/disease control. They will provide expert guidance on crop selection, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting techniques to launch and sustain production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of soil quality, crop health, and pest/disease control
- Providing expert guidance on crop selection, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting techniques
- Developing and implementing crop rotation plans to ensure long-term soil health and farm sustainability
- Monitoring weather patterns and recommending optimal planting and harvesting schedules
- Designing strategies to manage and minimize farm expenses
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in agricultural consulting or farm management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
