Care Support Specialist
This role involves providing care and support to our residents using a person-centred approach. You will be responsible for all primary care needs of our residents, including ADL care, provision of meals, cleaning and laundry.
About the RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Providing care and support to residents in a residential aged care home setting
- Responsibilities include everyday activities of cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal hygiene, general activities, medication administration, leisure activities and other general household duties
- Promoting physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by partnering with them to be involved in meaningful activities
- Undertaking care and documentation to the highest standard
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience in cooking or working in a hospitality environment
