Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Engagement professional to develop and implement effective communication strategies that promote our initiatives and engage stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive communication plans to increase visibility of our programs and outcomes, incorporating internal and digital communications, media outreach, social media management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop high-quality social media content based on research findings, industry partnerships, and research profiles to achieve desired objectives.
  • Create and disseminate external communications content that highlights our organization's profile via our monthly newsletter.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, key messages, and briefing notes as required.
  • Support the delivery and promotion of all events, funds, and campaigns, meeting defined objectives and ensuring maximum visibility for our organization and its networks.
  • Foster relationships with industry partners, government agencies, institutions, and community groups to expand our reach and engagement.
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship or working rights. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering marketing strategies that achieve measurable outcomes in support of organizational objectives.
  • Able to distill complex information into straightforward messages for communication to diverse stakeholders in support of strategic goals.
  • Proven ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, exercise creativity, and enthusiasm in developing new initiatives.
