Project Planning and Coordination Manager

This role is critical in ensuring that complex systems are delivered efficiently, safely, and in alignment with overall project objectives—on time and within budget.

The M&E planning function across the project lifecycle will be managed by this position, from design coordination and procurement scheduling through to construction integration, commissioning, and handover. This includes leading the development of detailed and integrated programs for all mechanical, electrical, fire, communications, and building services works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with designers, consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams to sequence and align work programs.
  • Implement and maintain accurate planning and reporting tools, with a focus on earned value, schedule risk, and time-chainage analysis.
  • Produce reliable forecasts and performance insights for systems to support operational decision-making.
  • Integrate schedules with wider construction and civil works programs to support seamless project delivery.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled professional with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • 12+ years' experience in construction planning, with a strong focus on systems.
  • Proven ability to lead planning teams on complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced skills in Primavera P6 and other planning and project controls software.
  • Strong understanding of systems construction methodologies, sequencing, and commissioning processes.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
