About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our APAC Professional Services team. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in helping our customers transform their digital campuses and leverage technology to enable student success.

You will be responsible for consulting and advising our customers on the implementation of Ellucian ERP solutions, providing technical value add services and advisory guidance. This includes working with our customers to design and develop complex ERP system architecture, and ensuring the successful adoption of these solutions.

The role will report to the Senior Director, Professional Services APAC, and will be part of a global team of technologists and architects that support the product, technical, and extensibility needs of the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex ERP system architecture
  • Consult and advise customers on the implementation of Ellucian ERP solutions
  • Provide technical value add services and advisory guidance
  • Work with customers to ensure successful adoption of Ellucian ERP solutions
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and functional teams
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled
  • Develop and implement technical project plans within a specific budget
  • Monitor and document technical aspects of ongoing projects
  • Identify and mitigate significant technical project risks
Requirements
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated skills as a technical lead
  • Agile project management
  • Strong diverse technical background
  • Ability to effectively communicate at various levels within the institution
  • Demonstrated aptitude for logical application of problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to deconstruct complex technical issues to identify root cause issues
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner, Oracle 11g/12c databases, and web application deployments
