Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled tradesperson to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting and following construction plans to build and install various wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and assemble wooden components to construct framing, walls, floors, stairs, roofs, and other structural elements
  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other finishing touches to complete the construction process
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Carpenter (Trade Qualification), with a minimum of 2 years in the trade
  • Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes
  • Must have personal tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery
  • A commitment to quality and efficient work practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing job site conditions
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and being proactive
  • Valid driver's license
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check
