Enterprise Architect Role Summary

This is an opportunity to design and define architectural roadmaps for Institutional Banking and Trade Finance functions.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be the subject matter expert in these domains, analysing client and customer requirements and proposing target state solutions that benefit both customers and Commonwealth Bank.

Working closely with technologists and business stakeholders, you will lead strategic initiatives, assess and deconstruct legacy platforms, and identify opportunities for modularisation and domain-driven design.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing Enterprise Architecture strategies and best practices to support business objectives
  • Embedding AI in Institutional Banking and Trade Finance
  • Bar Raising solution architecture against Reference Architecture
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and providing client consultations
  • Providing EA support by directing teams in baseline, target and roadmap development

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience within the IT Industry, financial services or business consulting
  • Expertise in Enterprise Architecture, specifically in Institutional Banking and Trade Finance Domains
  • Confidence in strategy development and delivery of major business solutions into production
  • Proficiency in development and adoption of services-based business architectures
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. TOGAF, BIAN, ISO)
