We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Professional to join our team in Perth, WA. This exciting role will involve working closely with the engineering function to manufacture tools and subassemblies.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing and be able to provide valuable feedback to the engineering team on best practices. They will be responsible for planning their own work, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the development of operational manuals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Building and assembling tools, including specialized thermite heaters
  • Troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis of manufacturing issues
  • Planning and prioritizing work to meet production deadlines
  • Monitoring and adjusting production processes for quality and productivity
  • Conducting inventory management and maintaining accurate records

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar role
  • Strong understanding of 5s principles and laboratory safety procedures
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings and processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Mentoring and training junior technicians
