Job Description

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Operate professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Architecture: Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure seamless integration with development teams.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automation and efficient resource management to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) into the architecture to enhance scalability and reliability.
Security Management:
  • Develop and enforce security policies and protocols to safeguard infrastructure assets and protect against potential threats.
  • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate controls to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools and other security monitoring solutions to minimize impact.
Service Continuity Management:
  • Create, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure continuity of services during planned and unplanned outages.
  • Develop and implement backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of services during planned and unplanned outages.
Documentation and Training:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, security measures, and continuity plans to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to team members on security best practices and infrastructure management to enhance skills and knowledge.
