Job Title

A proactive and experienced Service Controller is required to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet and retail customer equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer breakdown requests, coordinating with clients and dispatching Field Service Technicians for prompt repairs and maintenance.
  • Manage and communicate with technicians to ensure the availability of spare parts.
  • Create and manage work orders for Field Service Technicians, and accurately record the completion of work in our MCS system.
  • Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance on fleet equipment, ensuring safety for both employees and customers.
  • Continuously analyze and improve scheduling practices to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues to facilitate the effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Coordinator in a mechanical environment highly regarded but not essential.
  • Proven experience in a high-volume scheduling environment.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical skills with a knack for recommending improvements to systems, processes, and procedures.
  • A mechanical or automotive qualification is preferred but not essential.
