About the Role

This is a full-time position, with Monday to Friday working hours and occasional weekend work. You will be based on site at Wambo Wind Farm, where you will work closely with our site supervisor and other technicians to maintain and repair our wind turbines. The successful candidate will have a recognized Australian trade certificate, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair wind turbines to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime
  • Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and repairs
  • Respond to emergencies and attend site outside normal working hours to undertake critical repairs
  • Maintain all company vehicles and equipment in good condition
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements
  • A-Grade Electrical license
  • Full clean driving license
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of PLC and/or SCADA systems
  • Experience with HV/LV, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
