Principal Piping Designer Opportunity

Wood Plc is seeking a highly experienced Principal Piping Designer to join its team in Darwin, Northern Territory, as part of its Operations APAC West business.

The successful candidate will act as the focal point Piping Designer on brownfields oil & gas projects, taking responsibility for the design and managing project scopes and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of piping systems for oil and gas projects
  • Manage project scopes and resources to ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in piping design and discipline technology
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in Engineering or Drafting
  • Minimum 15 years piping design experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Minimum 5 years in Principal Design role
  • Understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements
  • Ability to problem solve effectively and attention to detail
  • Competency in E3D CAD systems
