About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Analyst to join our team at Sandhu Freights Pty Ltd.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing key financial information to provide valuable insights that inform managerial planning and commercial decision-making. This role is ideal for an inquisitive and versatile individual who is eager to take ownership of the position and contribute to the business's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Evaluating the efficiency of financial procedures and identifying opportunities for cost reduction
  • Processing accounts receivable, including daily bank reconciliations, managing debtor relationships, and establishing supplier accounts
  • Supervising end-to-end accounts payable and statement reconciliations, as well as weekly payments
  • Reviewing variance and margin analysis reports and providing commentary
  • Preparing quality month-end reporting comparing actuals to budget and operational reports
  • Overseeing accounting procedures and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of business operations
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative approach
  • Genuine business engagement and negotiation skills
What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as:
