Join a dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician in our food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have a background in Food Science or quality assurance and be responsible for conducting wet and dry quality tests on raw materials and finished goods.Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine QA tests following company quality procedures and the Quality Program Manual.
  • Conduct Critical Control Point verification checks.
  • Accurately enter QA data into SAP and maintain digital records.
  • Raise and follow up on Non-Conformances and block stock processes.
  • Conduct temperature checks and support shelf-life validation programs.
  • Perform water and air plate testing as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Support GMP and collaborate closely with production staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
  • A Diploma or Degree in Food Science (or equivalent relevant laboratory / industry experience).
  • Prior experience in a food manufacturing QA or laboratory setting.
  • A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems and prior SAP experience (highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
