We are seeking experienced secondary English/HASS teachers who can teach from a Christian worldview. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to contribute to our growing, independent, co-educational Christian College.
Located in the port city of Gladstone, Queensland, our college offers a seamless educational program from Kindergarten to Year 12 across two campuses with around 620 students. We follow the Australian National Curriculum and provide unique learning opportunities for students such as inquiry-based learning, collaborative learning, and digital deliveries using Apple TVs, MacBooks, and iPads.
Teaching Responsibilities- Teach secondary English/HASS while applying a Christian worldview.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Key Qualifications- Experience teaching secondary years, including teaching pracs. Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with parents, students, and other staff.
- Able to build and maintain quality working relationships and student rapport.
- Highly organized with pride in planning and preparing classes.
- Committed to presenting professional practice and developing skills and knowledge across the College.
- A committed Christian actively involved in your church and subscribing to the College's Statement of Faith.
- Queensland College of Teachers registration.
- Entitled to work in Australia.
