Role Overview

This is a senior position providing high-level guidance and support to the Executive Director Youth Justice and the Director, Strategy and Engagement.

The successful candidate will have strong project management expertise, as well as a solid understanding of ministerial and parliamentary processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the Executive Director Youth Justice and the Director, Strategy and Engagement.
  • Manage key projects within Strategy and Engagement for corporate activities.
  • Lead the development, monitoring and review of briefings and reports for the Minister's Office.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships across Youth Justice Directorates.
Requirements
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check clearance.
  • High-level competence in systems development and maintenance supporting ministerial and parliamentary processes in a medium to large agency.
  • Strong understanding of ministerial and parliamentary process.
  • Strong project management skills.
