Job Title:

Apart from providing therapy to patients, this position requires coordinating with other teams and suppliers across the metropolitan area.

Job Description:

This role is a part of an assistive technology service which focuses on supporting primary therapy teams and their clients in achieving their goals. It involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions. You will be required to travel throughout Perth's metropolitan area to support therapists as needed.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services. Key responsibilities include assessing, analyzing, and prescribing assistive technology equipment, completing applications, and mentoring staff. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in assessment, analysis, and prescription of Assistive Technology Equipment
  • Strong report writing skills and extensive experience in completing AT applications
  • Experience mentoring and supporting staff with AT inquiries
  • Excellent communication skills
