Job Summary

Serve as a highly skilled and dedicated aviation rescue firefighter, ensuring the safety of passengers and staff at airports across the country.

About the Role

This role involves providing emergency response services, maintaining airport facilities, and offering critical support to aircraft incidents. With industry-leading training and state-of-the-art equipment, you will be equipped to handle challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to aircraft emergencies and incidents
  • Maintain airport fire trucks and facilities in optimal condition
  • Provide expert first aid and fire safety advice to stakeholders
Requirements

To excel in this position, you must:

  • Hold Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
  • Have completed Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (Year 10/12)
  • Be eligible for a heavy rigid driver's license and hold a current unrestricted driver's license
  • Possess a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or HTLAID014)
  • Meet physical aptitude and aviation medical assessment standards
  • Demonstrate exceptional physical and mental fitness
