GIS Systems Architect

We are seeking a skilled GIS Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, maintaining and developing our two primary GIS systems – ArcGIS Enterprise and GeoMaster.

  • Design and implement server-side GIS technology solutions
  • Maintain and improve SQL databases and related applications
  • Normalize and centralize core datasets within an SQL environment
  • Configure and develop mobile, web and desktop GIS software to support business requirements
  • Ongoing troubleshooting, maintenance and development of Resource Systems (ArcGIS Enterprise and GeoMaster) to ensure timely and accurate spatial data access for staff.

This role requires strong communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the GIS Systems meet their needs.

Our ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Spatial Sciences, IT, Geography or a related field, along with proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise suite of products and RDBMS.

Database administration experience, GeoMaster forest management system skills, programming and scripting knowledge would also be beneficial.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and time management skills, who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
