Busy Bees Yerrabi Ponds is a dynamic and inclusive 90-place service located in Canberra's North. We are seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our dedicated team of professionals.
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for children, where they can thrive and reach their full potential. As an Educator with Busy Bees, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families.
Essential Qualifications:
• Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
• Current and valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
• First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
Key Skills and Attributes:
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children
• Understand the developmental milestones and needs of various age groups
• Design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues
• Work seamlessly as part of a diverse and dynamic team
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
• Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years
• Insight into quality service standards and assessment processes
• Respect for diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs
• Proficiency in using computers and software for documenting children's learning and development
• Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar
