As a leading business in the CBD, we are looking for a procurement professional who can lead, negotiate, and deliver strategic improvements to the procurement function that ultimately delivers value, particularly with a focus on ICT.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a lead in ICT procurement to deliver innovative, strategic category management plans that align with business objectives.
- Provide high-level procurement advice to stakeholders to facilitate added value and drive business growth.
- Analyze and report on supplier performance, supply chain risks, and procurement activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Enable collaboration between procurement and ICT stakeholders to align objectives and achieve procurement outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects and schedule activities within a challenging supplier market, while maintaining a customer focus.
Requirements
- Experience in the preparation and negotiation of complex procurement contracts (end to end).
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills to confidently develop and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ideal experience in category management strategies and managing issues, risks, and trends associated with various procurement across ICT.
- Qualifications in procurement, supply chain, law, or business beneficial.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
- A community-minded individual passionate about ensuring the delivery of services to Victoria.
